NAIA Guide for the College Bound Student-Athlete
The NAIA Eligibility Center is responsible for determining the NAIA eligibility of first-time student athletes. Any student playing NAIA sports for the first time must meet the eligibility requirements. Students must have their eligibility determined by the NAIA Eligibility Center, and all NAIA schools are bound by the center’s decisions. Learn more here. High school seniors who wish to participate at an NAIA school need to register at:  www.playnaia.org

College Representative Visits
Students who wish to visit with a college representative should follow this procedure:
  • Check with your teacher so he/she knows where you are.  Teachers have final refusal if they feel a student should not miss class.  Passes are not necessary.
  • Come to the guidance area at the beginning of the period and sign in.  You will not be excused if you haven't signed in.
  • Be prepared to give the representative your full attention and ask any questions you might have about the university/college.
  • College Representatives are here for approximately one class period.  If you are unable to visit at the scheduled time, feel free to leave your name with the guidance secretary and she will ask the college representative to contact you.
